Residential Accommodation

The YWCA of Banff provides safe, affordable housing for seasonal workers through its Gingerbread Housing program. Gingerbread provides residents with a private bedroom, common living room, shared kitchen and bathrooms. Parking is available for Gingerbread residents.

Due to high demands for safe, affordable housing, there is a current waiting list between four to six weeks to get into Gingerbread.

How to Apply

• You must apply in person, by fax, or email
• You are required to have two (2) references
• Residence must be a minimum of three (3) weeks and a maximum of six (6) months
• A damage deposit that is equal to one (1) week’s rent is required
• Key deposit of $15 is required
• You must be employed in Banff or Lake Louise to qualify
